The Judge'S Court

The Judge'S Court is a place we call Jai Bhawan, located in the village of Pragpur within the Kangra district. This area is known for its history, and our building is a big part of that. It’s an old manor house made of brick and wood, and it sits on a fair bit of land. Living here in 177107 means we are surrounded by orchards and hills. We have a lot of fruit trees, like mangoes and lychees, and a good chunk of our day is spent making sure the garden isn't overgrown. The house itself has very high ceilings and thick walls that stay cool even in the summer. We have a lot of old furniture that has been passed down through generations, and we try to keep it polished. It’s not a shiny new hotel; it’s a home that has stayed the same for a very long time. We have a few dogs that wander around the property and a kitchen that smells like woodsmoke and local spices. Most of our guests are people who want to see what a real Indian village feels like. We don't have a big staff, just a few local people who help us keep the place clean and cook the meals. It’s a quiet life in Pragpur, and we mostly just focus on the seasons and taking care of the old house.
