Bobs The Family Restaurant

Bobs The Family Restaurant is located up in Naddi, which is a quiet little village near Dharamshala. We are part of the Hotel Bobsnbarley, right by the Post Office and the road that leads to Dal Lake. Living and working up here in the hills is different. Everything moves a bit slower. The weather really dictates our day. If it’s snowing or raining hard, we might not see many people, but on clear days, the views bring everyone out. We’ve been running this place as a family for several years now. It’s a simple building made of stone and wood. We try to keep it warm inside for when the mountain air gets chilly. Our tables are mostly filled with families who are visiting the lake or staying in the guest houses nearby. We don't have a corporate office or anything like that; it’s just us and a few local guys helping out in the kitchen. Sometimes the supply trucks take a while to get up the winding roads, so we just work with what we have on hand. It’s a plain kind of life. We focus on keeping the place tidy and making sure the food is ready when people are hungry. It’s not a fancy place, just a spot in Naddi where you can get a hot meal and sit for a while without any rush. We like the quiet life here in the mountains.
