Vidhya Valley School

People usually find us easily because we are right on Power House Road in Section 7 here in Jodhpur. It is a lively spot. Vidhya Valley School has been part of this street for quite some time. The mornings start early because of the heat. You see the yellow buses pulling up and the kids jumping out with their heavy bags. The building is painted in a way that’s easy to spot, even if the paint is peeling a bit in the corners. Inside, the floors are stone and stay relatively cool. We spend a lot of time just managing the daily schedule. There is always someone looking for a lost pen or a missing notebook. Our staff room is tucked away near the back office where the ceiling fan wobbles a little. It’s not a quiet place, especially during the lunch break when everyone is out in the corridors. We have a small area for sports, though it’s mostly just for quick games between classes. Living and working in Jodhpur means dealing with the dust, so we are always sweeping. We don’t go in for big speeches or fancy posters. We just show up, open the gates, and get on with the teaching. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we see the same faces every day. It’s just a normal school life on Power House Road. We keep the registers updated and make sure the bells ring at the right time.
