Shri Gdm School

This school is out in Ekal Khori, specifically in Hari Om Nagar near Cherai. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city of Jodhpur, so things are a little quieter out here. We have a lot of space around us. The school building is simple, painted in colors that match the landscape. Most of the kids come from the surrounding villages. They arrive by bus or walk if they live close enough. We have teachers who live nearby and some who travel a bit further to get here. The day starts with a morning assembly, and then everyone heads to their rooms. We don't have all the high-tech gadgets you might see in big city schools, but we make do with what we have. There’s a playground where the students spend their free time. It’s often quite sunny, as you’d expect in this part of Rajasthan. We handle the basic subjects and try to make sure everyone stays on track. The office is usually where parents stop by to pay fees or ask questions. We keep things pretty informal. There’s no need for big corporate talk here. We are just a local school trying to help kids get an education in Cherai. People know us by name, and we know them. That’s how a small community works, and we are happy to be a part of it for many years now. Shri Gdm School is just a regular part of life for us.
