Science World

Science World isn't a traditional school with a big playground and a morning assembly. We are located on the floor above the PNB Bank on Main Pal Road in Jodhpur. Being on such a busy road means there is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside, but inside the rooms, we try to keep things focused. It’s mostly a place for students to come for extra help with their science and math subjects. We have several rooms set up with chairs and whiteboards where the teachers go over the difficult parts of the syllabus. Since we are right on Pal Road, it’s very easy for students to catch a bus or an auto to get to us after their regular school hours. Jodhpur is famous for being the Blue City, but around here, it’s all about the shops and banks. The building we are in is quite standard for this part of town. We have a small reception area where parents wait and a couple of coolers to help with the Jodhpur heat. We don't have any fancy brochures or a big corporate team. It’s just a few of us who know the subjects well and want to help the local kids pass their exams. We spend our evenings checking papers and explaining the same formulas until they stick. It’s honest work in a busy part of the city, and we stay busy most of the year.
