Saraswati Shishu Mandir Secondary School

Started in Maderna Colony, right off Bhadwasia Road here in Jodhpur. Most people know us around Paota. It’s a busy spot but we make it work. We have been teaching kids here for quite a while now. The building is simple, nothing fancy, but it does the job for the secondary classes. Usually, mornings start with everyone rushing in before the heat gets too bad in the summer. We have a small staff of teachers who have been living in this neighborhood for years. Most of the families around here send their children to us. We just focus on the textbooks and making sure kids show up on time. Sometimes the traffic outside can be a bit loud, but once the gates close, it’s just the usual classroom noise. We don’t have those big fancy air conditioners in every room, just fans and open windows. It’s a practical place where people know each other by name. Parents often stop by the gate to chat for a minute after dropping off their kids. We try to keep the grounds tidy, though the dust in Jodhpur is a constant battle. It’s just a normal school where we try to get through the syllabus every year. The kids play in the yard during breaks, and you can hear them from the main road. We’ve had many batches pass out from here and move on to college. It’s a quiet life mostly, without any big corporate goals, just teaching.
