Indigo Public School is right in the middle of the Chopasni Housing Board area in Jodhpur. If you live around here, you know it's a pretty busy residential spot. We have been here for a good amount of time, watching the neighborhood grow up around the school. The building itself is straightforward, with enough rooms for all the different classes we run. Jodhpur gets incredibly hot, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans are working and the water coolers are full. In the mornings, the street outside gets a bit crowded with parents dropping off their kids on scooters or in cars. It’s a lively atmosphere most days. Our teachers are mostly local people from Jodhpur who understand the families here. We don't have a massive playground, but there's space for the kids to move around during their breaks. The office is usually a bit messy with books and registers piled up, but that’s just how a working school looks. We try to keep things organized without making it feel like a cold office building. Most of our day is spent dealing with the usual school stuff—grading papers, talking to parents about their kids, and making sure the building is locked up tight at the end of the day. It’s a simple operation, really. We just show up and do the work every day of the week.
