We are located at 117, Paota C Road, which is a pretty well-known spot in this part of Jodhpur. Galaxy Public School isn't a massive place, but we use the space we have as well as we can for the students. Being in Paota means we get a lot of kids from the nearby residential blocks and narrow lanes. Every morning the street gets a bit crowded with parents dropping off their children on scooters or walking them to the gate. The building itself is an older style, but it’s sturdy and does a good job of keeping the sun out. We have a few rows of classrooms and a small space for the staff to sit during their free periods. It’s not one of those schools with a giant gate and security guards everywhere. It’s more like a community spot where everyone knows everyone. We focus on the lessons and making sure the kids actually understand what’s in their textbooks. Sometimes we have to fix a broken desk or replace a lightbulb ourselves, just the normal stuff that comes with a building. The teachers are hardworking people who live right around here. We don't spend any money on glossy brochures or marketing. We just talk to the parents when they come by the gate. Life at the school is simple and routine. We start early, do the lessons, have a short lunch break, and then everyone goes home around two or three. It’s been this way for years.
