You can find Anant Lewis Public School right on the Main Banar Road in Jodhpur. Since we are on a main road, it is easy for parents to drop their kids off on their way to work. The area is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. Our school isn't one of those expensive private places with a swimming pool. It’s a plain building where the focus is just on the daily lessons. The playground is just a bit of open space where the kids play cricket or run around when they have a break. We have a few trees that provide some shade, which is lucky in this Rajasthan heat. The staff here is a mix of young teachers and some who have been here since the start. We don't use much fancy technology; it's mostly blackboards and notebooks. The kids come from the surrounding neighborhoods, and everyone seems to know everyone else. It’s a friendly vibe, even if the building looks a bit worn in some places. We keep the gate closed during school hours for safety, but you can always see what’s going on through the fence. We are just a local school trying to do right by the families in the 342001 area. No big mission statements, just school days and homework. It is a simple life for us here and we like the families we work with every day.
