Vignan English Medium School

Over at House No 1 on Bidhan Path, you’ll find Vignan English Medium School. We’re located in Shiv Nagar, which is part of the Kadma area in Jamshedpur. It’s a residential neighborhood, so we’re right in the middle of where people live. The school operates out of a converted house, which gives it a bit of a different feel than those big institutional buildings. We have several rooms used for classes and a small courtyard area. It’s busy from Monday to Saturday. The kids are mostly from the nearby houses. We teach in English, which is what the parents here want. It’s not a fancy place with a lot of modern architecture. We have simple desks and chairs, and the walls have some charts and drawings on them. The teachers are hardworking people who live nearby. We don't go in for big advertisements or flashy signs. Most of our students come to us because their neighbors' kids go here. It’s a simple, local school. We deal with the usual stuff like leaky taps or noisy fans, just like any other building in the 831005 area. We just focus on getting through the lessons every day and making sure everyone is where they should be. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes during assembly, but we make it work somehow. It’s just how things are run around here. We just try to keep it steady.
