Chinmaya Vidyalaya

Our school is located in South Park, Bistupur, which is right in the middle of Jamshedpur. It is a very busy area and the school reflects that energy. We have a lot of students and the building is full from the start of the day until the afternoon. It is an older building that has been part of the landscape here for many years. We have the usual setup with many rows of classrooms and a staff room where the teachers gather. It is not a place with a lot of extra frills or luxury. We focus on the books and the lessons that need to get done. The playground is always in use during the breaks and it can get quite loud with all the shouting and running around. We have a small office that handles all the paperwork and it is usually crowded with parents or teachers. Jamshedpur is a city that works hard, and we try to do the same here. The traffic outside in Bistupur can be quite heavy, especially during the morning drop-off times. We just manage the flow of people and keep the schedule moving along. It is a lot of work to keep a school like this going day after day, but we are used to the rhythm of it now. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just provide a place for the kids to come and learn their daily lessons.
