We've been here on Road No 1 in Kadma for quite a while now. Living in Jamshedpur, everyone knows the B H Area is pretty busy, but our school gates are right there on the main stretch. It’s an English medium school, though our name shows our roots and where the founders came from. People walking by often see the kids playing in the yard or parents waiting on their scooters during the afternoon pick-up time. The building isn't brand new or anything fancy, but it does the job for what we need every day. Teachers usually show up pretty early, around 7:30 in the morning, especially during the summer when we start earlier to beat the heat. We have classrooms for different grades, and the corridors get really loud when the bell rings between periods. It's just a regular, honest place where local families send their children to learn their ABCs and math. Sometimes the power goes out or the ceiling fans make a bit too much noise, but that's just how things are here. We keep the registers updated by hand and make sure the wooden benches are kept in decent shape for the students. It’s not one of those expensive private academies with a swimming pool or air-conditioned buses, just a school for the neighborhood. You can find us easily enough near the main road in the 831005 area. Most of the staff has worked here for a long time, so we know the families.
