Sacred Heart Convent School

Our school is situated on Hill View Road in Jamshedpur. It’s a place that’s seen a lot of kids grow up over the years. We’ve been here at number 19 for a long time. The building has that old, solid feel to it. You can hear the sounds of the playground and the bells ringing throughout the day. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s a good kind of noise. The teachers and the staff here are like a big family. Most of us have been around for ages. We don't have all the newest gadgets in every single corner, but we have what we need to teach. Jamshedpur is a city with a lot of history, and we feel like we’re a small part of that. The hills around here give us a nice view, which is probably why the road got its name. We spend our days making sure the classrooms are ready and the lessons are planned. It’s a lot of work, and sometimes it gets stressful, but seeing the students learn makes it worth it. We don’t go in for big, flashy displays or fancy slogans. We just focus on the books and the students. It’s a simple life dedicated to education. We’ve been on Hill View Road for a long time and hope to stay for much longer. It’s just home for us and for the kids who come here.
