South Point School

South Point School is over in Mango, specifically on Dimna Road in the Gobargsusi Patamba area. Jamshedpur is a big industrial city, but our little corner feels a bit more like a neighborhood. The 831012 area has grown a lot lately. You can see the traffic on Dimna Road getting heavier every year. We’re right there in the middle of it all. The school isn't some massive glass building. It’s a practical place with classrooms and a playground that sees a lot of use. We don't have a marketing team writing our brochures. We just write down what needs to be done on the blackboard. Most of us have been working here for a long time, so we know the local families well. We see the kids growing up from small children into teenagers. The summers in Jamshedpur are really tough, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans are working and there’s enough water for everyone. It’s a simple life at the school. We open up in the morning, do the lessons, and close up after the last bus leaves. We don't try to sound like a big company because we aren't one. We’re just a school in Mango trying to give the local kids a place to study and play every day.
