Sangar Tejpal Architect

We are located out in Pharala, in S.B.S Nagar. It’s a village setting, so things are a bit slower here than in the big cities. Sangar Tejpal Architect is run from this spot, and it’s where all the planning happens. We don't have a glass front office or a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and see us working at the tables. The walls are covered with sketches and some old photos of projects we've finished over the years. We know most of the people who live nearby in Pharala. It’s the kind of place where people stop to say hello even if they don’t have business with us. We spend time looking at maps and measuring things out. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s part of living and working here. We use old-fashioned rulers and sometimes the computer when we have to. We aren't interested in being flashy. We just want the buildings to stand up and look right for the area. S.B.S Nagar is our home, and we’ve been here for a long time. There is a lot of dust sometimes if the wind blows right, but we just wipe off the desks and keep going. It’s a simple life, focused on the work at hand. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture, just what we need to get the job finished. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, which is nice for a break.
