Hemant Bhandari Architect

My practice as Hemant Bhandari Architect is based in Jalandhar. You can find me at 415-A in the Grand Mall, right by BMC Chowk. It’s a busy part of the city, which makes it easy for clients to drop by while they’re out. I’ve been doing this for many years, focusing on building plans and basic architectural design. I don’t have a big team or a flashy office. It’s a functional space where I can focus on my CAD drawings and site reports. Working from the Grand Mall is quite practical for me. Most of my day is spent either at my desk or driving out to check on the construction progress of various houses and small buildings around town. Architecture is a lot more than just drawing pretty pictures. There's a lot of math and local regulation to follow. I try to keep my designs sensible. I don’t believe in over-designing things just to make them look fancy if they aren't practical for the owner. It’s a steady job with its own set of challenges, like when materials don’t show up on time or the weather holds up a roof casting. I’ve lived in Jalandhar a long time and I know the local style pretty well. I just focus on doing a decent job for the people who hire me. It’s a straightforward approach and it seems to work well enough for everyone involved without needing a lot of extra polish or corporate talk.
