Udayveer Singh Thakur Architect is located over at 1067 Urban Estate-1. It’s a pretty simple setup we have here. I spend most of my day sitting at the drawing table, trying to get the lines to match up with what people want for their homes. The office isn't anything fancy, just a room with some good light and enough space for all the papers. Urban Estate-1 is a nice enough neighborhood, and we’ve been here for a good while now. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to see what we are sketching. We don't have a big staff or a receptionist to greet you, so it's usually just me or one of the guys answering the door. There are stacks of blueprints in the corner that have been there for years, and the shelves are full of old binders. It gets a bit dusty if we don't clean for a week, but that’s just how it is when you’re busy with drawings. We don't use any of those big corporate words to describe what we do. We just draw buildings and hope they turn out well. It's a lot of quiet work, mixed with some phone calls to the city office. The morning sun hits the front window around nine, and that's usually when the day really starts. It's just a local place doing its thing without much fuss. We try to stay organized but sometimes the paperwork just piles up on the desk.
