I've been working out of this small shop at Khambra Gate for quite some time now. You can find us right on Nakoder Road here in Jalandhar. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few tables and a lot of paper rolls stacked in the corners. Most days it’s just me and a helper trying to get drawings finished before the sun goes down. The traffic outside is always humming, especially during the morning rush. Sometimes local folks stop by just to ask a quick question about a wall or a roof they’re fixing up. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that, so people usually just walk right in. It gets a bit dusty with the door open, but it’s nice to see what’s happening on the street. Jalandhar is a busy place and being near the gate means we see everyone coming and going. I usually spend my mornings sketching things out while drinking some tea. The desks are a bit cluttered with pens and rulers, but we know where everything is. It’s a simple setup where we just try to get the work done without much fuss. If you’re passing by the shop, you’ll probably see the lights on late. We just keep at it, one drawing at a time, making sure the measurements are right and the plans make sense for whoever is building. It is just us and the drafting tools every single day now.
