Aman Makol Architect

My office is in Central Town, Jalandhar, right across from Rex Gym on Street Number 1. It’s 6-B. Being near the gym means there’s always people moving about, which is nice. I’ve been practicing as Aman Makol Architect here for some time now. Mostly, people come in because they’ve bought a plot or want to renovate an old house they’ve had for years. I spend most of my mornings looking at site photos or drawing up plans on the computer. It’s a small place, nothing too grand. I think people like that they can just walk in and talk to me directly without going through a bunch of layers. Jalandhar is growing, and there is always something being built. I try to stay on top of the local rules so nobody gets in trouble with their construction later on. Sometimes the clients have very specific ideas, and other times they just want me to tell them what will fit. It is a mix of both. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when I take a break from the screen. It is a simple life of an architect here. We deal with the bricks and mortar and try to make things sturdy. It’s honest work, and I enjoy being right here in the heart of town. It gets the job done for the people who live around here.
