Kaur Manmeet Architect

Over at 209-R in Model Town, you’ll find Kaur Manmeet Architect. It’s a nice spot in a part of town that has a lot of history. The office itself is tucked into the 209-R address, and it’s where we do all our thinking and drawing. Manmeet is usually the one leading the way, and she’s got a very practical approach to everything we do here. The space is filled with the usual architect stuff—long rulers, rolls of tracing paper, and samples of materials. Model Town is a good place to be because it feels established and steady. We try to keep that same feeling in our work. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm around; we just want to do good work for the people who come through our door. The office has a bit of an old-school feel to it, maybe because of the furniture or just the way we like to do things. Sometimes it’s quiet enough to hear the clock ticking on the wall, and other times it’s a bit of a madhouse when we’re trying to meet a deadline. We usually have some snacks tucked away in the drawers for when the afternoons get long. It’s a very human place to work. No fancy slogans, just a lot of drafting and talking through ideas until they make sense for the project at hand.
