Akaar Architecture

Akaar Architecture is located at 8 Govind Plaza Complex, right there at Nakodar Chowk in Jalandhar. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the traffic coming through. Our office is usually filled with rolls of paper and half-empty tea cups. We spend most of our days looking at site plans and trying to figure out how things will actually fit on a piece of land. It’s not a very quiet place because someone is always coming in to ask about a wall or a roof. Jalandhar has its own way of doing things and we just try to keep up with the changes in the neighborhood. Sometimes the fans are clicking and the computers get loud, but that is just how it goes when you are working on blueprints all day long. We don't have any fancy receptionists or big glass walls. It’s just us sitting at desks, drawing lines and talking to contractors on the phone. People stop by Govind Plaza for all sorts of errands, and we are just another door in the hallway. It’s practical work. Most of the time we are just worrying about measurements or if the materials will show up on time at the site. We’ve been at this spot for a bit now, and the view of the chowk never really changes. It’s home for us, anyway. We don't mind the noise much anymore.
