The Feast

The Feast is located at E-92 on Subhash Marg. C Scheme is a pretty well-known part of town, so finding us isn't too difficult for most people. The building is older, but it has character. We spend most of our time in the back where all the actual work happens. The front area is where the customers sit, and we try to keep it tidy, though with the foot traffic, it’s a constant battle. Subhash Marg gets quite busy during lunch hours. We see a lot of office workers coming in and out. Most of them are in a hurry, so we try to keep things moving. We aren't trying to be the most famous spot in the city or anything. We just want to make sure the food is decent and the plates are clean. The staff here has been together for a while. We argue about the cricket scores or the weather while we prep things. It feels more like a home than a business most days. The windows at E-92 look out onto the street, so we watch the world go by when there’s a lull in the afternoon. It’s a good spot. We don't have any corporate manuals or strict rules, just common sense. If someone is hungry, we feed them. That’s about as much of a plan as we have. We keep the doors open until the work is finished and then we go. It is enough for us.
