You can find us at number 1, Kalyanji Ka Ras. This is right in the Chand Pole Bazar area. Being at number 1 makes it sound important, but it is just the first spot on this little lane. Chand Pole is one of the busiest places in Jaipur. There are gates and old walls everywhere. Kalyanji Ka Ras is a bit of a tucked-away spot compared to the main bazaar road. It is still noisy, though. You hear the temple bells and the people arguing over prices. We have a lot of stuff to move in and out, and doing that in Chand Pole takes some patience. The cows wander through the streets, and you just have to wait for them to move. We have been here for years. The walls of our place are a bit uneven and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it works for us. We do not need a polished office to do what we do. We just need our kitchen and our space. In the rainy season, the water rushes down the street, and we have to keep an eye on the doorway. It is a very traditional part of town. Everyone knows everyone else's business. We are just the people at number 1 who handle the catering. It is a simple life in a very crowded city. We do not worry about being fancy, we just get the job done every single day.
