Agra Catering Service operates out of Shop No-164 on Ghee Walon Ka Rasta. This is right in the heart of Johri Bazar. If you know Jaipur, you know this lane is famous for the smell of food and the sound of people haggling. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot of cooking into it. We handle a lot of different catering jobs for local families and small gatherings. Most of the time, we are busy prepping vegetables or making sure the spices are ground just right. Being on Ghee Walon Ka Rasta means we are right in the thick of things. It’s crowded and loud, but that’s just how Johri Bazar is. We’ve been at Shop No-164 for quite a while now. We don't use any fancy machines, just big pots and traditional ways of cooking. The floors can get a bit slippery when we are deep in the middle of a big order. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. People usually just find us because they’ve eaten our food at someone else’s house. We spend a lot of time on our feet. Sometimes the heat from the stoves is almost too much, especially in the summer months. But we just open the door to the lane and keep going. It’s a simple business and we like it that way, just cooking and serving.
