Hari Om Bhojanlya

We are tucked away on Shiv Murti Street in Haridwar. If you are walking toward the Gujrati Bhawan, you will see us right there nearby. The address is 249401. Haridwar is always full of people, especially pilgrims, so our street is almost never quiet. Hari Om Bhojanlya is just a small place for people to get a meal. We don't have any big signs or fancy lights. It is just a simple kitchen and some benches. People come in with their bags, tired from traveling, and we just give them something to eat. It is very basic. We see people from all over the country walking past our door every day. The smells of the street and the sound of bells from the temples are just part of our daily life. We don't really do much advertising. People just find us because they are staying at the Bhawan or they are just walking by. It is a lot of hard work in the heat, especially during the summer months. We just keep the water cold and the food hot. We have been here at this spot for a while and we know the neighbors well. It is a small community on Shiv Murti Street. We just do our part by keeping the stove going from early morning until late at night for whoever is hungry. It’s just how we spend our days here in Haridwar. We don’t think about much else besides the food and the customers. Most of the time we are just busy cleaning up after the lunch rush and getting ready for dinner.
