Gurunank Veg Point

We are located in the Chaat Bazaar area of Roorkee, 247667, right in the middle of the Chopati section. If you find the Patiala Lassi shop, you are almost at our door. It’s a lively part of town where everyone comes for snacks and quick bites. We focus on vegetarian food, mostly the kind of things people like to eat while they are out walking around the market. Our stall or shop isn't very big, but we make use of the space we have. There is usually a lot of steam from the cooking and the sound of pans clanking. We start our day by getting all the fresh vegetables from the market nearby. Everything is made right there where you can see it. It’s a bit messy sometimes when the crowd gets thick, but we try to keep things moving. We don't have a lot of seating, so most people just stand and eat or take their food with them. It’s the way things work in a bazaar. We know the other vendors around here and we all sort of look out for each other. It’s a busy life, especially in the evenings when families come out to enjoy the weather. We just keep cooking and serving until the last customer leaves. It’s not a fancy place, just a local veg point for the people of Roorkee. That's how we spend our days and we enjoy the routine of the market life.
