Trends Beauty Hair Style is located on M R D Road in the Chandmari area of Guwahati. We are not too far from Uzan Bazar, which is a very active part of the city. The shop is a small one, just like many others you see along the road. We have a couple of stations for hair styling and some basic beauty equipment for our customers. It isn't a high-end salon with fancy furniture or bright neon lights. It’s just a regular place where people from Chandmari come when they need to tidy up their hair. We have a few mirrors and the usual chairs you’d expect. The walls have been painted a few times but you can still see the age of the building. It’s a humble setup but it works for us and our regulars. The traffic on M R D Road can be quite loud, so there is always a background hum of cars and bikes. We spend our days cutting hair and chatting with the people who drop by. Some customers have been coming to us for years and we’ve seen their families grow up. We don’t do much in the way of advertising, mostly just people seeing the sign when they walk past. It’s a simple business run in a simple way. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening rush is over. It’s just how we do things here in Guwahati.
