Bijay Hair Cutting Saloon

Being located on G S Road in Ulubari means we are right in the middle of everything in Guwahati. It is a very busy street and there is always something happening outside our window. Our saloon isn't very big, so it can get a bit hot in the summer months when the sun hits the front of the building. We have a couple of fans going all day to keep the air moving. Most of our customers are people who work in the nearby offices or shops. They usually pop in during their lunch break or right after they finish their shifts. We don't do anything too modern, just the standard styles that people have been asking for for years. It’s a small team here, and we’ve worked together for a long time, so we know how to handle the busy hours without getting in each other's way. The equipment we use is simple but we keep it sharp and ready. We don't really have a waiting room, just a few plastic chairs near the entrance. If those are full, people sometimes stand outside and chat until it’s their turn. We like the atmosphere of being on a main road, even if it is a bit noisy with the horns and the buses. It feels like we are part of the city's heartbeat. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
