Bahadur Hair Cutting Saloon has been a part of Ulubari for a long time. You can find us on Ashram Road, right in the South Sarania area of Guwahati. It is a straightforward barber shop. We do not spend much money on decorations or lights. We just have our chairs, mirrors, and scissors ready for whoever walks in. The neighborhood is always active, so there is usually someone sitting in the chair. We do haircuts and beard trims mostly. Some people come in just for a head massage after a long day of work. It is a small space, but we make it work. We know most of the people who live around here by name. It is nice to have that connection with the locals. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud, and the radio might be playing some old songs in the background. We don't follow the latest trends from the movies, we just give the hair cut that the customer wants. If someone wants it short, we cut it short. It is not complicated.
