Tip Top Hair Care Saloon

Tip Top Hair Care Saloon is located over in the Ragharbari area, right along the main Panjabari Road. It’s one of those spots in Guwahati where things are always moving. We have been running this place for a good while now. The shop itself is small, maybe smaller than people expect when they see the name on the sign. We have the usual setup with the chairs and the clippers. I usually get here early to open the shutters and let some air in before the sun gets too high. Panjabari Road can get really loud with all the buses and cars going past, but inside the shop, it’s mostly just the sound of the scissors. We don't do anything complicated here. If someone wants a basic cut or a clean shave, that’s what we do. There’s a lot of tea shops nearby, so sometimes we grab a cup between customers. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast on Saturdays, so we spend a lot of time with the broom. It’s a lot of work keeping a small business going, but we like being part of the community here. Most of our regulars are guys who live just a few streets away. They don't want anything flashy, just a place they know where the talk is easy. We keep the mirrors clean and the water spray bottles full. That’s about all there is to it.
