Sitaram Hair Cutting Saloon

Sitaram Hair Cutting Saloon is located right here in the Jayanagar area of Khanapara. We are easy to find on Tripura Road, which gets pretty busy during the morning commute. The shop isn't fancy or anything like those big city parlors. We have a few old chairs and some big mirrors that have seen better days. Every morning, we open up early to sweep the floor and get the towels ready. Most of our regulars live nearby in Guwahati, and they usually stop in for a quick trim or a shave on their way home. You can hear the traffic outside while you sit in the chair. Sometimes the ceiling fan makes a little clicking noise, but it keeps the air moving when it gets humid out. We don’t really do anything complicated here, just standard haircuts and beard trims. There’s a small wooden bench where people sit and wait, maybe scrolling on their phones or looking out at the street. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but the shop stays mostly the same. We keep the scissors sharp and the combs clean in a jar of blue water. It’s just a basic place where men from around Khanapara come to get their hair sorted. We try to keep the floor clear of hair, but on Saturdays, it gets a bit messy because it stays so busy from morning until we close the shutters at night.
