Seema Hair Cutting Saloon

Our little shop, Seema Hair Cutting Saloon, is tucked away in Bharalumukh, right on A T Road. If you know the Guwahati area, you know this road stays very busy with trucks and buses. We’ve been here for years, and the shop has seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood. It’s a simple setup with three chairs and some old mirrors that have seen better days. We mostly do haircuts and beard trims for the local guys and the workers passing through. It’s not a place for anything trendy, just a good, honest haircut. I learned to cut hair from my father, and now I run the place with a helper. We don’t have air conditioning, just a big ceiling fan that keeps the air moving. In the summers, it gets quite hot, but nobody seems to mind much. We have a small bench for people to sit on while they wait. We don’t do any advertising; we just rely on the people who live nearby or work at the shops on A T Road. Sometimes we close early if there’s a festival or a holiday, but usually, we’re here from morning until late evening. It’s a noisy part of town, but inside the shop, it’s just the sound of clippers and some chatting. We just try to be a reliable spot for a cheap trim.
