Rakesh Hair Cutting Saloon

Our shop, Rakesh Hair Cutting Saloon, is tucked away in the Kumarpara area of Guwahati. You can find us right on Kumarpara Road. It is a busy part of town and we are used to the noise of the street. We’ve been here for some time now and most of the locals in the 781009 area know the spot. The shop itself is simple, with the usual chairs and cutting tools you expect in a neighborhood saloon. We spend a lot of our time sweeping up hair and making sure the towels are washed. It is a straightforward kind of place where men come to get a quick trim or a shave before heading to work or home. Being in Kumarpara means we see a lot of the same people every week. The road outside always has something going on, people walking to the market or cars passing by. We don't have any big corporate plans, just keeping the shop running day by day. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on weekends, so there might be a short wait on the bench. We just do our work and talk about the weather or local news with whoever is in the chair. It’s a humble setup but it works for us and the people who live around here in Assam. We are just a part of the daily life on Kumarpara Road.
