New Shambhu Hair Cutting Saloon is located on Shankar Path, right in the Hatigaon area of Guwahati. We are on the Hatigaon Road, which is a main route for many people going to work or heading home. Our shop is quite simple. We have the basic equipment needed for haircuts, shaves, and beard trimming. We started this place to serve the local community here in Hatigaon. It isn't a large salon with many employees. It is just a couple of us working through the day. We see a lot of the same people every month. They come in, we have a quick chat, and then we get to work on their hair. The shop is kept as clean as we can manage, given how many people walk in from the dusty road outside. We don't use any fancy marketing words to describe what we do. It is just hair cutting. We have mirrors, chairs, and some basic hair products. Nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out or work with the natural light coming from the door. That is just how it is here. We aren't trying to compete with the big chains in the city. We are just a local shop on Shankar Path doing our part for the neighborhood. It is practical work and we appreciate the people who choose to come to us every day. It has been like this for years now.
