Monsoons Beaute Salon & Spa

This is Monsoons Beaute Salon & Spa, located on Jayanagar Road in the Beltola area of Guwahati. We’ve been operating out of this building for a while now. It’s a bit different from a regular barber shop because we do more things like facials and some spa stuff, but it's still a very relaxed place. The street outside can get quite busy with traffic heading toward the main market, but inside it’s usually a bit quieter. We have a few rooms set up for different things. The paint on the walls is a light color to make it feel more open. I work here with a few other girls. We spend our days mostly cutting hair or helping people with their skin. It’s a lot of standing on our feet, so we get tired by the end of the shift. The towels are always in the laundry because we go through so many every single day. Sometimes the sink leaks a little, but we put a bucket under it and it’s fine. People from all over Guwahati come by, especially on their days off when they have time. We don't have a fancy website or anything, people just hear about us from their friends or family. We just try to do a good job so they come back next time. It’s a nice little business we’ve built up here on Jayanagar Road.
