Hussain Salons

Hussain Salons is located at K B Chowk in the Noonmati area of Guwahati. It’s right on Noonmati Road, which is a place that never really stays quiet. We’ve got the refinery nearby and lots of traffic coming through all the time. Our shop is a straightforward place for a haircut. We don't have any of those fancy spa treatments or expensive products. We just have good scissors, clippers, and a steady hand. The shop has a few chairs and a big mirror that stretches across the main wall. We keep a stack of old newspapers for people to read while they wait their turn. The humidity in Guwahati can be something else, so we always have the door open to get some air moving. We’ve been serving the people around K B Chowk for quite some time now. Most of our customers are neighbors who we see at the grocery store or the tea stall. We know how they like their hair cut without them even having to say it. It’s a small team of us working here. We take turns going for lunch or grabbing a cup of tea. The work isn't glamorous, but it’s honest. We take pride in keeping our tools clean and our customers looking neat. It’s just a regular day-to-day business for us here in Noonmati. We like the people, and we like the work. That’s enough for us to keep going.
