Vasudevatma Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our company is based in Vasant Nagar, which is over in Gondia. We use the space at Gangabai M Barsagade’s place for all our meetings and the general paperwork. It’s a quiet neighborhood, and it suits us just fine. In Gondia, agriculture is what keeps most people going, and we’re just trying to do our part. We aren’t a massive outfit with a bunch of employees in fancy clothes. It’s just a group of local farmers trying to make things a little easier for ourselves and our neighbors. We’ve been through some really tough years with the weather, but that’s just how it goes in Maharashtra. We don’t have any bright signs or big advertisements to show off. Most people find out about us through word of mouth or by just stopping by the house. We spend our time talking about which seeds are working and where we might get a better price for our harvest this year. It’s a lot of planning and then a lot of hard work out under the sun. We try to keep our expenses low so that the money actually goes back to the people who grow the food. It isn’t always smooth, and we definitely make some mistakes along the way. But we’re learning as we go and trying to stay honest. We appreciate the support we get from the folks around Vasant Nagar. We’re just regular people trying to do our best.
