Chulbandh Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are located in a village called Ghategaon, which is in the Sadak Arjuni area of Gondiya. Our address is House Number 316 in Ward Number 2. Chulbandh Farmers is just a small group of us who live and work around here. We aren't a big corporation. We are just neighbors who decided to pool our resources. Gondiya is a nice place, but farming here requires a lot of hard work. We spend most of our time out in the fields, not in an office. We started this producer company so we could buy things like seeds in larger amounts and hopefully get a better price. We also try to help each other when it’s time to take our crops to the market. We don't have a marketing person or any fancy advertisements. We just rely on word of mouth and our own hard work. Our meetings are very informal. We just sit together and figure out what needs to be done for the week. It’s not a polished business, and we make mistakes sometimes with the paperwork. But we are all learning as we go. We are just trying to make a decent living from our land. We don't have any grand plans, just the daily work of being a farmer in Ghategaon. Every season is a new challenge with the weather and the prices, but we just stick together and keep moving forward.
