Gondia Vainganga Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is called Gondia Vainganga Farmer Producer Company Limited. You can find us over at Nitesh Bharat Katre’s place in Pindkepar. We are out in the Tirora area, near Sukhali Dakaram. It’s a place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We didn’t start this to get rich or anything. We just noticed that if we worked together, we could get better results with our crops. Most of us have been farming since we were kids, so we know the land around Gondia pretty well. The Vainganga name means a lot to us because of the river and what it does for our fields. We spend our time looking after the plants and making sure the harvest goes okay. There is always something to do, whether it’s fixing a fence or talking about the price of fertilizer. We don't use big words or have complicated rules. It is just about helping each other get through the season. Sometimes we meet up under a tree to talk about what needs to be done next. It’s not a polished business, just some local guys trying to do right by their families. We have our fair share of problems with pests and the weather, but we just keep going. It’s a lot of physical labor and early mornings. We are just a local part of the Tirora community, doing what farmers have always done here.
