Manorath Nari Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at House No. 649. This is in the Cheshtar Ramdas Nandeshwarborgaon Bazar area of Deori. This is a group of women who have been farming for a long time. We decided to come together to make things a bit easier for ourselves. In Deori, everyone knows that the women do a lot of the heavy lifting on the farms, so it made sense to have our own company. We meet at the house in Borgaon Bazar to talk about the season. It’s not a formal place. Usually, there is tea and a lot of discussion about the price of goods. We don’t use any marketing tricks. We just show up and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the crops don't do well, and we have to figure out a backup plan. Being a Nari company is important to us because it shows we can handle the business side of things too. We are just local mothers and sisters who know the soil. Our address is simple, and so is our way of working. We don't have big budgets, just our hands and the land we have been given. It is a tough life but we are used to it by now. We look out for each other and the families in our village.
