Him Palace Restaurant and Bar

Him Palace Restaurant and Bar is located right inside the Him Palace Hotel on Haridwar Road. If you are ever in the Dharampur area of Dehradun, you might have seen our sign out front. We’ve got a mix of people coming in, some staying at the hotel and others just stopping by from the road. Haridwar Road is always full of cars and buses, so it’s never really quiet outside. The bar and the restaurant are kept pretty simple. We don't have any of those modern decorations, just regular tables and chairs where you can sit and relax. The 248001 area is a good spot to be, and we’ve been here for a good number of years. Most of the people who work here live just a short walk away in Dharampur. We know the local rhythms, like when the traffic will be at its worst or when the evening crowd will start showing up. We spend a lot of our time prepping the kitchen and making sure the bar is stocked up for the night. It is a lot of routine, but we don’t mind it. Sometimes the music is a little loud, but it helps drown out the sound of the trucks on the main road. We aren't trying to be fancy or anything. We just provide a place to eat and drink. If you are driving through Dehradun, we are an easy stop for a quick meal or a seat at the bar.
