First N Bite Restaurant

We’ve been here at Salawala for a while now. Most people find us because we're right near Ganga Dairy on New Cantt Road. It's a busy spot in Dehradun. We just focus on making food that tastes right. Nothing fancy. My brother and I started this place because we liked eating out, but wanted something simple. Usually, the kitchen gets pretty loud around lunch. We try to keep things clean and the chairs are comfortable enough for a quick meal. Sometimes the traffic outside is a bit much, but once you're inside, it’s fine. We don't have a big menu. Just stuff we know how to cook well. People from the neighborhood stop by after work. It’s a small space, nothing like those big chains you see in the mall. We handle everything ourselves, from buying the vegetables in the morning to locking up at night. If you’re walking down New Cantt Road, you’ll see our sign. It's not a huge place, but we have enough room for a few families. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations because the food should be what matters. Most days we are here from morning till late evening. It’s hard work running a kitchen in a place like this. But it keeps us busy. The winter months in Dehradun get a little chilly, so we keep the doors closed more. It’s just a standard neighborhood eatery where you can get a decent meal without spending too much.
