Delhi Khana Khazana

You’ll find us right on The Mall in Mussoorie, specifically in the Kurli area. We are directly opposite the Picture Palace, which is a big landmark around here. Being in a hill station means we see a lot of tourists, but we have plenty of locals who come in too. The weather up here can get quite chilly, so we try to keep the place warm and the food hot. It’s a simple restaurant. We have wooden tables and a few windows that look out toward the street. It’s nice to watch the fog roll in while the kitchen is working. We don't have any fancy uniforms or a complicated way of doing things. We just serve the kind of meals we grew up eating in Delhi. The 248179 area is always humming with people walking up and down the hill. Our kitchen isn't very big, so when it gets crowded, it gets a bit tight in here. We just handle it as it comes. Sometimes we run out of fresh ginger or a certain spice and have to send someone down the road to get more. That’s just how life is in the hills. We aren't a big chain, just a local spot where you can sit down and eat for a bit. My wife usually sits at the counter while I handle the back. We've been doing this for several seasons now and don't plan on moving.
