T V R Chamber Bricks

If you drive down Thadagam Main Road, you will find us at Somayampalayam. We are at 1/234, and T V R Chamber Bricks is pretty hard to miss because of the smoke and the piles of red bricks sitting out. It is a noisy place, especially when the loaders are running or when a big delivery is going out. We have been here for a good stretch of time. Most of our days are spent checking the chambers and making sure the fire is right. It is not a job for people who like to stay clean. Everyone here has red dust on their clothes and boots by ten in the morning. We don't really have a marketing team or anything. If someone needs bricks, they usually just show up or call. We talk about the weather a lot because it tells us if we can dry the bricks outside or if we need to wait. Somayampalayam is a busy area, so there is always traffic on the main road, which can make getting the trucks out a bit of a headache sometimes. We just try to keep things moving. There isn't much to say about our philosophy or anything like that. We just make bricks and sell them. It is honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday, and sometimes Sunday if the kiln needs tending. It is just what we do, day in and day out, without any fuss or fancy talk.
