Krs Chamber Bricks

Down at 150/1B in Kuppanur, that is where you will find Krs Chamber Bricks. We are located near the Somayam Palayam Road, which makes it easy for the tractors and trucks to get in and out. This area is mostly quiet except for the sound of our machinery and the workers moving around. We have been making chamber bricks here for quite some time. It is a process that takes a lot of patience. You have to wait for the clay to set and then the firing takes several days in the kiln. We aren't a huge factory with robots. Most of what we do is still done by hand. We use local clay and try to keep things running smoothly. Some days are harder than others, like when the machine breaks down or a delivery is late. We just fix it and keep going. My family helps out with the accounts and talking to the people who come to buy for their building projects. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make bricks and sell them to whoever needs them. The yard is usually full of red stacks and the smell of burning wood. It’s honest work and we are proud to be part of the Kuppanur community for all these years. It keeps our hands busy and our lives full.
