N S N Hollowblocks

Out here at N S N Hollowblocks, the sun is our best friend because it helps the blocks set properly. We are situated at 9/68, right on the stretch from Tharapuram to Thirupur Centre in Koduvai. It is a good spot because plenty of people pass through while moving materials between the towns. The yard is quite large, which is necessary for laying out all the rows of blocks to cure. It gets very dusty, especially when the wind picks up off the road, but we are used to that. The work is physical and involves a lot of lifting and moving heavy stacks. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. If you come by, you’ll likely find us near the mixer or checking the water levels. We've been operating in Koduvai for some time, and the locals know the sound of our machinery starting up in the morning. It’s a straightforward operation where we focus on the raw materials and the finished product. We don't bother with much else. Some days the heat is tough, but the blocks need that warmth. We just keep a steady pace throughout the week. When a truck pulls in to load up, everyone pitches in to get it filled so they can get back on the road to Thirupur or wherever they are heading. It’s just honest work under the sky, day after day.
