Brickcon Precast Private Limited is located out at Sf.No.476/5A in Senthampalayam. It’s a bit out of the way, near P.G.Pudur, coming through the S Kulam route. Being away from the main city noise is actually better for what we do. We work with precast materials, which means there’s a lot of heavy equipment and casting going on. It’s a dusty, loud environment most of the time. We don't have a shiny lobby or a front desk person. Usually, if you walk in, you'll just find one of us covered in a bit of concrete dust. We make things like walls and blocks before they even get to the construction site. It saves time for the builders, but it’s hard work for us. The crew here is local, mostly guys from the surrounding villages who know how to handle the machinery. We have a small office area to keep the invoices straight, but we spend most of our hours out where the casting happens. The weather dictates a lot of our schedule; if it's too wet, things don't dry right. We just handle the day-to-day challenges as they pop up. It’s a straightforward business. We make the parts, we load the trucks, and we move on to the next batch. It’s physical work and we take a certain pride in seeing the finished blocks stacked up ready to go. We just keep our heads down and work.
