Bilaspur Ceramics Pvt. Ltd. is located at Jalan House in Torwa. We are right near the old power house, which is a landmark everyone around here knows. It is a bit of an old-fashioned area, but it suits us just fine. Our work involves a lot of clay and heat. It is not clean work, but it is what we do. The building we are in has been around for ages. It has high ceilings and gets a bit drafty in the winter months. We spend our days managing the production and making sure things do not break. Sometimes things do break, and then we have a long day ahead of us fixing them. We do not have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you will just see the warehouse and the workspace. We mostly just talk to people face to face. There is no corporate ladder here. We just have a small group of workers who have been with us for a while. We drink tea from the stall down the street twice a day. It is a little ritual we have. We are not looking to expand into some giant empire. We just want to keep the kiln going and make sure the bills are paid. It is a practical way to live. Being near the old power house means we never get lost. We are just here in Torwa, doing our bit every day.
