Heidelburg Cement

We've been here in Irrigation Colony for a while now. Most people around Katghora know where we are because we deal with the cement stuff people need for their houses. It’s pretty dusty work, honestly. The weather in Chhattisgarh gets really hot, so we try to get most things loaded up early in the day before the sun is too much. We handle the Heidelburg stock. My cousin helps out with the ledger when things get busy at the end of the month. The yard isn't huge, but it fits the trucks just fine. Sometimes the roads get a bit muddy during the rainy season, which makes deliveries take longer than we'd like. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk and some chairs where people can sit while we sort out their orders. It's just a regular local business. We see the same faces every week, mostly local builders and some neighbors fixing up their walls. There’s always someone stopping by for a chat or to check prices. We don't do much fancy stuff, just keep the bags stacked and ready to go. The phone rings a lot, usually people asking if the truck has left yet. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic from the colony nearby, but we’re used to it. Just doing what we do every day here in Korba.
