We have been at the Gagal Cement Works in Barmana for a long time now. It is a busy place with a lot of noise and dust, but that is just how things are around here. Acc Ltd has a big presence in this part of the country. People know the site well. If you drive past Barmana, you can't really miss the setup. Most of us who work here live nearby. It’s a local operation in many ways. We show up every morning, get the machines running, and handle the day-to-day work without making a big fuss about it. The cement works are the main thing here. Sometimes the weather gets pretty hot or the rain slows things down, but the work keeps moving along. It is not a fancy office job. We wear boots and get our hands dirty. The town of Barmana has grown around this place over the years. You get to know the faces of the truck drivers and the guys on the floor. It is just a regular job for regular people. We don't spend much time on fancy talk or long meetings. Usually, we just focus on what needs to get done before the shift ends. There is a rhythm to the factory that you get used to after a few weeks. It is steady work. We try to keep things organized so nobody gets hurt and the trucks get loaded on time. That is basically our life here at the works.
